We want to promote the knowledge and experience that the hand-production of beautiful and useful things has a positive effect on the inner development of the individual, which in turn enhances their outer life to the benefit of the community at large.
So we started “The Makery”; a venue for community craft activities. We have space available for artists and craftspersons to share their craft, as well as anyone wanting a workspace for craft projects, to just learn a new skill. All the spaces, tools, materials and equipment are on offer at affordable rates for the use of groups and individuals. To book a space, or find out about courses on offer FIND OUT MORE

Siobhán Leonard is an Irish artist and a professional member of ‘Visual Arts Ireland' and UNESCO's "Association Internationale des Arts Plastiques".
Siobhán's style is simple and fluid, and her works contain a richness of colour, texture and emotion. She uses gestural brush strokes and through an instinctive feel for colour, expresses her emotional reaction to the landscape around her. She applies a process of layering; a physical mark making that replicates the process of cultivating and of working in harmony with the land.
You can visit the studio to view Siobhan's work, and painting workshops are also available. FIND OUT MORE
