Cloughjjordan Community FarmCloughjordan Community Farm is Ireland’s first Community Supported Agriculture project and has been in operation since 2008.
Cloughjordan Community Farm is a member-owned farm on the Tipperary Offaly border using biodynamic and organic farming methods, we aim to produce the highest quality, nutritionally dense vegetables, while also reducing the environmental impact of producing this food.FIND OUT MORE Cloughjordan House Cookery SchoolCooking classes at Cloughjordan House are held in the Coach House and are hands on, relaxed and informative. A bright modern kitchen makes learning to cook convivial and fun with really good equipment ensuring your cake always rises! The cookery school ingredients are sourced from local producers, The Tipperary Producers Group, the Cloughjordan Village Community farm or from our own victorian walled in garden.
We teach cookery courses to many different groups of people - secondary school students, bespoke adult classes, hen and stag parties, primary school tours, corporate and team building groups, respite groups and we even up-skill chefs. FIND OUT MORE Riot Rye Bakery and Bread SchoolCome and spend the day learning how to bake in our working wood-fired bakery with award-winning baker Joe Fitzmaurice. Our courses are hands-on. You will bring home with you a selection of breads, a fresh sourdough starter and the knowledge and confidence to bake real bread at home.
We encourage people to make their own rye sourdough starter a week before attending the courses. This gets you thinking about sourdough and gives you a feel for what sourdough is and how it works. If you don’t have the time/inclination, don’t worry! We have plenty of sourdough starter here that you can bake with!
